Make the best Oreo Balls with this incredibly easy, no-bake recipe. These rich, simple Oreo Truffles require minimal ingredients for maximum chocolatey flavor. They are perfect for parties or last-minute holiday treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Place the entire package of Oreo cookies into a food processor. Pulse until you have fine crumbs.
  2. Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a medium bowl. Add the softened cream cheese.
  3. Mix the crumbs and cream cheese together using a hand mixer or a sturdy spoon until fully combined and a dough forms.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. You should get about 30 balls.
  5. Place the rolled balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until firm.
  7. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate according to package directions. You can use a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
  8. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork to lift the ball out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  9. Return the coated balls to the parchment-lined sheet.
  10. Refrigerate the finished Oreo Truffles for about 15 minutes, or until the chocolate coating is set.

Notes

  • For a festive look, sprinkle crushed Oreos or holiday sprinkles over the chocolate coating before it sets.
  • If you prefer white chocolate Oreo balls, substitute the semi-sweet chocolate with white chocolate chips.
  • If you do not have a food processor, place the cookies in a large zip-top bag and crush them thoroughly with a rolling pin.
