  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water in a bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine flours, rosemary, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add yeast mixture and olive oil to dry ingredients. Stir until dough forms.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) with a cast iron skillet inside.
  7. Shape dough into a round loaf and place in the hot skillet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before slicing.
