Make your holiday gatherings special with this easy, creamy White Christmas Margarita. This festive cocktail blends coconut, lime, and tequila for a refreshing winter sipper perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups Silver Tequila
  • 1.5 cups Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 cup Cream of Coconut (sweetened)
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk (full fat, canned)
  • 0.5 cup Orange Liqueur (like Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
  • 1 cup Water or Coconut Water (optional, for thinning)
  • Ice, for blending or serving
  • For Garnish: Lime wheels, shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rim: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your serving glasses. Dip the rims into a shallow plate of shredded coconut mixed with coarse salt if desired.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a large blender or pitcher, combine the tequila, lime juice, cream of coconut, coconut milk, and orange liqueur.
  3. Blend or Mix: If making individual frozen margaritas, blend small batches with ice until smooth. For a pitcher, mix thoroughly until the cream of coconut is fully incorporated. If the mixture is too thick, add water or coconut water until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Chill: If not serving immediately, cover and chill the mixture. If serving frozen, add ice to the blender just before serving.
  5. Serve: Pour the White Christmas Margarita into your prepared glasses. Garnish each serving with a lime wheel and a sprinkle of extra shredded coconut for a snowy look.

Notes

  • For a cranberry twist, add 1/4 cup of cranberry juice per serving or mix it into the pitcher for a pinkish holiday hue.
  • If you want a richer flavor, consider using a high-quality blanco tequila for this recipe.
  • This recipe is easily scalable for large holiday parties; simply multiply the ingredient amounts for a big batch.
