A quick and flavorful takeout-style noodle stir-fry with a glossy soy-garlic sauce, ready in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 8 oz ramen, udon, or egg noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Stir to coat the chicken and let the sauce thicken for 2 minutes.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss with the sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked chicken for an even faster meal.
  • For a gluten-free option, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
  • Double the sauce ingredients if you prefer extra stickiness.
