A fast, colorful stir-fry with tender beef and fresh vegetables, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Cooked rice or noodles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, stir-fry bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Return beef to the pan, add teriyaki sauce and sesame oil. Stir well.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles if desired.

Notes

  • Swap vegetables based on preference.
  • Prep ingredients ahead for faster cooking.
  • Use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
