Small-batch cinnamon rolls with a nutty pistachio cream filling and cream cheese frosting, perfect for a cozy breakfast or brunch.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup pistachio cream
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add milk and melted butter, stir until a dough forms.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread pistachio cream evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 4 pieces.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk for frosting.
  9. Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
