A quick and comforting skillet dinner with seared chicken, creamy broth, and buttery egg noodles—all made in one pan for easy cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in egg noodles and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. Pour in cream and butter, stirring until butter melts and sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a wide skillet for even cooking.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
