Make this easy maple bacon chicken dinner, a sweet and savory chicken bake perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken thighs get a sticky garlic glaze and crisp bacon topping.

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, smoked paprika, pepper, and salt to create the glaze.
  4. Brush half of the maple garlic mixture evenly over the tops of the chicken thighs.
  5. Wrap one slice of bacon around the center of each chicken thigh.
  6. Brush the remaining glaze mixture over the bacon-wrapped chicken.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the bacon is crisp.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This garlicky bacon glazed chicken is best served immediately.
