A sweet and tangy homemade BBQ sauce perfect for wings, burgers, and grilling.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp liquid smoke (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  3. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool before bottling.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Adjust honey for sweetness or vinegar for tanginess to taste.
  • Use as a glaze, dipping sauce, or marinade.
