One-Pot Ground Beef Orzo

A quick and hearty one-pot meal with ground beef and orzo pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the orzo, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free orzo.
