A quick 20-minute salmon dish with rich garlic butter and a touch of lemon, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 lb asparagus (optional side)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place salmon fillets and asparagus on a sheet pan or in a skillet.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the salmon.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork (internal temp 145°F).
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
