A fast, crowd-pleasing side of oven-roasted mushrooms in garlic butter, perfect for pairing with steak, roast chicken, or holiday mains.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mushrooms, cleaned and halved
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss mushrooms with melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden and tender.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and lemon juice before serving.

Notes

  • For extra caramelization, roast at 425°F (220°C) for the last 5 minutes.
