A simple yet elegant appetizer made with sushi-grade ahi tuna, seasoned and served with crackers or avocado.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz sushi-grade ahi tuna, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped scallions
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 avocado, diced (optional)
  • Crackers or toast for serving

Instructions

  1. Chill a serving plate in the freezer.
  2. Dice the tuna into small, even pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, and ginger.
  4. Gently fold in the tuna and scallions.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately with crackers or avocado.
