Make this incredibly easy and juicy Baked Caesar Chicken for a satisfying weeknight dinner. This recipe delivers that creamy, cheesy flavor everyone craves with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for extra creaminess)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup croutons, crushed (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined. This creates your rich, creamy sauce.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the Caesar-Parmesan sauce evenly over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is tender and juicy. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your chicken breasts.
  5. Remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle the tops with a little extra Parmesan cheese and the crushed croutons, if using.
  6. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy this simple chicken dinner immediately.

Notes

  • For an easy one-pan dinner, add asparagus spears or broccoli florets to the baking dish around the chicken before baking.
  • If you prefer a keto friendly chicken bake, skip the crouton topping.
  • This recipe tastes great served over pasta or alongside rice for a complete comfort food chicken meal.
