A simple slow cooker chicken dish with a creamy sauce, perfect for serving over angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine (optional)
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix Italian dressing mix, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, and white wine until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Shred or slice the chicken and stir into the sauce.
  6. Serve over cooked angel hair pasta and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, let it simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes after cooking.
  • Substitute white wine with extra chicken broth if preferred.
