- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine (optional)
- 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix Italian dressing mix, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, and white wine until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Shred or slice the chicken and stir into the sauce.
- Serve over cooked angel hair pasta and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, let it simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes after cooking.
- Substitute white wine with extra chicken broth if preferred.
