A simple skillet pasta with tender steak and a rich parmesan cream sauce, ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan until melted.
  5. Add cooked pasta and steak back to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Slice steak against the grain for tenderness.
  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor.
  • Pair with a simple salad for a complete meal.
