- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown pork chops on both sides.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half the potato slices in a greased baking dish.
- Pour half the sauce over the potatoes.
- Place pork chops on top and cover with remaining potatoes and sauce.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For a crispy top, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
- Try adding diced onions for extra flavor.
