A rich and garlicky one-pan pasta with tender chicken and parmesan, ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden, about 6-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
  • Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
