An easy quick bread with a sweet cinnamon swirl, perfect for breakfast or gifting.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add milk, oil, and egg. Stir until just combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
  • Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon sugar slightly for a marbled effect.
