- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add milk, oil, and egg. Stir until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar.
- Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
- Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon sugar slightly for a marbled effect.
