Ingredients
Scale
3 lbs seedless grapes (a mix of red and green recommended)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup brown sugar (for topping)
Instructions
Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
In a separate medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add the sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until the dressing is completely smooth and creamy.
Pour the creamy dressing over the grapes. Gently fold the dressing into the grapes until all the grapes are evenly coated.
Cover the bowl and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, combine the chopped pecans and brown sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle this topping evenly over the chilled grape salad.
Serve cold. This salad travels well for parties and gatherings.
Notes
For a lighter version, you can substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
