A simple oven-baked garlic bread with herb butter and melted mozzarella, perfect for pasta night or as a party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Mix butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Spread the garlic butter evenly over both bread halves.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Slice and serve warm.
