A cheesy, layered pasta bake perfect for serving a crowd. Freezes well and delivers golden, melty tops.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, then drain.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet, then stir in marinara sauce.
  4. Mix ricotta cheese with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Layer half the spaghetti in a baking dish, then spread ricotta mixture on top.
  6. Add remaining spaghetti, then pour meat sauce over it.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
