A rich, quick weeknight pasta with seared beef, silky garlic-butter sauce, and parmesan cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add beef slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and parmesan. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add cooked linguine and beef back to the pan. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best texture.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • Pair with a simple salad for a complete meal.
