A rich weeknight pasta with savory ground beef in a garlicky butter-Parmesan cream sauce over linguine.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add butter and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan until melted.
  5. Add cooked linguine and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Swap ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
  • Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
