A moist and easy banana bread with crunchy walnuts, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  4. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Use bananas with brown spots for the best sweetness.
  • Freeze leftovers by wrapping slices in plastic wrap and storing in a freezer bag.
