A healthier twist on classic apple fritters, baked to golden perfection with warm cinnamon and tender apples.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in diced apples.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast.
  • Dust with powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
