Make delicious, crispy air fryer salmon bites fast. This easy recipe delivers moist salmon pieces perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing after cooking

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a crispy exterior.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping the bites halfway through the cooking time. The exact time depends on the size of your cubes.
  6. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from the air fryer, immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice, and toss gently.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the seasoned salmon with 1 teaspoon of cornstarch before air frying.
  • Pair these bites with a simple yogurt-dill sauce or a spicy aioli for dipping.
  • These are great for meal prep; reheat briefly in the air fryer to restore crispness.
