  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 pound gnocchi (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup spinach (chopped)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken meatball mixture by combining ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Form the meatballs, aiming for 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  3. Optionally, sauté the meatballs in a skillet for extra flavor.
  4. Prepare the sauce by heating marinara sauce and any optional ingredients in the skillet.
  5. Combine ingredients in the slow cooker, layering sauce and meatballs.
  6. Add gnocchi about 30 minutes before serving.
