1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets, thawed)
6 large eggs
1 cup of milk (or cream)
1 cup of shredded cheese
1 cup of cooked sausage or bacon (optional)
1 cup of diced vegetables
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil or butter.
Roll out the puff pastry sheets to fit the baking dish.
Whisk together the eggs and milk. Fold in the cheese, sausage or bacon, and vegetables.
Lay one sheet of puff pastry in the baking dish. Pour the filling over it. Fold the overhanging pastry over the filling. Top with the second sheet of puff pastry.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. The pastry should be golden brown.
