  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a large pot with vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant, then add sliced carrots and diced potatoes.
  3. Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, ginger, salt, pepper, and bay leaf to the pot.
