  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 can (12 oz) tuna in water, drained
  • 1 cup sweet corn kernels
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Add mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese until melted.
  5. Mix cooked macaroni, tuna, corn, and cheese sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining cheese, breadcrumbs, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
