  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the meat and all remaining ingredients to the crockpot.
  3. Stir well to combine.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
