A quick and flavorful black bean dip perfect for parties, barbecues, or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add black beans, sour cream, salsa, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, and lime juice to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust salt as needed.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • For a spicier dip, add chopped jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • This dip can also be warmed in the microwave for 30 seconds if preferred.
