Lemon Pasta Sauce

A bright and fresh pasta sauce made with lemon, perfect for summer meals.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons, juiced and zested
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 8 oz pasta of your choice

 

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and lemon juice. Stir well.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  5. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until coated.
  6. Garnish with lemon zest and fresh parsley before serving.

 

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
