Pre-portioned stuffing balls with sage and onion, perfect for Thanksgiving or holiday gatherings. Make ahead and reheat for easy serving.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups dried bread cubes
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix bread cubes, onion, celery, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour melted butter and broth over the mixture. Stir to combine.
  4. Add beaten egg and mix until evenly moistened.
  5. Shape into 2-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Make ahead: Prepare and refrigerate unbaked stuffing balls for up to 2 days before baking.
  • Serve with leftover turkey and gravy for a quick meal.
