10-Minute Blackened Tuna Steak – Irresistibly Bold & Juicy

  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Coat both sides of the tuna steaks with the spice mix.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over high heat.
  4. Cook tuna steaks for 2 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 1 minute.
