Quick and easy marinated tuna steaks cooked in the air fryer for a healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 tuna steaks (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, honey, and ginger in a bowl.
  2. Coat tuna steaks with the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Brush tuna with olive oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  5. Air fry for 4-5 minutes for medium-rare or 6-7 minutes for well-done.
  6. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Pair with steamed rice or roasted vegetables.
  • For best results, use fresh tuna steaks.
  • Check internal temperature: 125°F for medium-rare, 145°F for well-done.
