Ingredients

  • 8 slices of white or whole wheat bread
  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly on all slices of bread.
  3. Layer cucumber slices on half of the bread slices.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
  5. Trim crusts if desired and cut into triangles or rectangles.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes before serving.
