A festive and delicious cookie cake perfect for celebrating Independence Day.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups red, white, and blue M&Ms or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  5. Fold in the M&Ms or sprinkles.
  6. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes
